EDC unveils initiatives to create jobs, impact economy
Welcome to the Economic Development Center (EDC).
To say the economy in St. Charles County, Missouri is dynamic, growing and successful is to put things rather mildly.

During the last few decades, St. Charles County has been recognized as a leader in metropolitan St. Louis and around Missouri when it comes to housing starts, job creation, transportation improvements, expanding community amenities as well as business and population growth.
Since 1990, the Economic Development Center (EDC) has been helping grow St. Charles County one business and one community at a time.
Established as public-private initiative involving governmental and business leaders along with civic-minded residents from throughout the area, the EDC serves as a valuable catalyst for bringing people together to foster balanced growth and an ever-increasing quality of life.

As "the business growth experts," the EDC is renowned for providing attractive business financing to companies of all sizes, operating two successful small business incubator facilities, assisting with business recruitment and retention, and offering business counseling, training, and networking.
